Our Companies
The Main Street America Group started with the founding of NGM Insurance Company in 1923. NGM was created to provide affordable insurance coverage to Grange Fraternity members in New Hampshire. Today, Main Street America serves "Main Street" individuals, families and small businesses in 16 states along the Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Florida and annually writes more than $850 million in premium.
Through its four A-rated property and casualty insurance companies, Main Street America partners with more than 1,300 independent agents to provide superior, personal service to more than 500,000 policyholders. The Main Street America Group is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. with regional operations in Keene, N.H.; Syracuse, N.Y.; Richmond, Va.; and Jacksonville; and an adjuster center in Auburn, Mass. NGM Insurance Company
NGM Insurance Company, a Florida-domiciled stock insurance company, is Main Street America's flagship carrier. NGM offers a complete line of personal and commercial products and services to Main Street Americans throughout New England, the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
Old Dominion Insurance Company
Old Dominion Insurance Company primarily offers personal and commercial products in Georgia and commercial products in Florida. Old Dominion also continues to expand into additional states with the introduction of Main Street America’s Personal Auto MVP (Multivariate Program) rating model.
Main Street America Assurance Company
Main Street America Assurance Company is licensed to write property and casualty insurance business in 15 states.
MSA Insurance Company
MSA Insurance Company is a South Carolina-domiciled stock insurance company that writes Excess and Surplus Lines insurance for Florida commercial insureds.
