Careers - Product Management

Insurance companies offer a variety of products and services – but where do they all come from? Members of The Main Street America Group's product management and development team are responsible for not only initially creating our products but also enhancing or replacing them to meet the ongoing demands of our agent-customers and policyholders.

Housed in our product areas, product managers must have a strong understanding of insurance products, market segments and marketplace.

These professionals are also responsible for staying in tune with market trends, as well as keeping up to speed with competitors' products and services. In addition, you must have a solid grasp of state laws and regulations affecting insurance practices so that necessary adjustments can be made to products in a timely fashion.  

You also work closely with our sales and marketing force, as well as other internal departments, to ensure our products are continuing to meet marketplace needs.
